How to Apply for Housing
This page is for people who wish to apply to us for housing. If you are a Society tenant already and wish to exchange a property with one of our tenants please click on the moving home icon.
Location of Properties
The Society has a mixture of different types of properties located in 10 local authority areas in the South West Region:
- North Wiltshire
- South Gloucestershire
- Mendip
- Sedgemoor
- South Somerset
- Taunton Deane
- Mid Devon
- West Devon
- South Hams
- West Dorset
The Society lets its properties to people in housing need, either because they have no home at all, or their present accommodation is unsuitable, and who, for financial or other reasons, are less able to secure their own housing solutions.
Nominations for our properties come, in the main, from the local authority in each area, these are either via the local authority's waiting list or the choiced based lettings system.
If you wish to apply for housing you will need to complete a Common Housing Register application form with your local authority.
