Board of Directors
The Society Board is made up of people with skills, interests or relevant experience, which assists the work of the Society. Board members are selected by interview following a skills assessment. Board members are unpaid for their work for the Society.
The Board meets bi-monthly and oversees the main business of the Society, ensuring we are on track to meet our key strategic aims.
The Audit Committee reports to the Board and comprises five members. The Committee meets three times a year and oversees internal and external audit and provides advice on the effectiveness of our internal control systems, including our risk management process.
Board members are required to sign a Code of Conduct, which sets out what is expected of them in their role. An annual Board appraisal is undertaken each year, including a review of training needs.
Shareholding is open to both tenants and other interested parties. Those wishing to become shareholders should contact us for an application form.
