About Us

The Society was founded in 1944. We provide high quality affordable housing and work to strengthen communities in the rural areas and market towns in the south west region.

We own and currently manage 396 homes for rent and 44 homes for shared ownership in the counties of Somerset, Devon, Dorset, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Our key objective over the next five years is to develop, in conjunction with the Homes and Communities Agency, new affordable homes for people in need in the region.
